2-5 years PQE Assistant Solicitor, Civil Litigation 

Full time; immediate start, competitive salary

Excellent opportunity for a civil litigation solicitor in a busy, boutique litigation firm in Farringdon, London. 

The successful applicant will work alongside the supervising partner in civil litigation matters.  He/she must have experience of working in litigation and a working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.  The applicant should be adept at running their own caseload and progressing matters with limited supervision.  Experience in drafting pre-action correspondence is essential, drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements desirable.

Our work and client base is varied, and applicants should be natural communicators and comfortable with advising people from a wide range of professional and social backgrounds and also companies.  They should be commercially minded and be able to adapt their style dependent on the client, budget and time constraint. 

It is essential that the successful applicant has excellent IT skills, including the intermediate-level features of Microsoft Office and prior use of case management systems.  The firm is committed to offering the highest level of service to its clients and the applicant must share this ethos and adhere to the highest professional standards. 

A law degree (2:1 or higher) or GDL (commendation or higher) and LPC (commendation or higher) is required, together with the requisite experience.
