Peter Stringfellow

Solicitor

Criminal law, fraud and financial crime

Since qualifying as a solicitor, Peter has amassed over 30 years of experience in defending and often advocating for those accused in Criminal Proceedings.

Peter has successfully defended a whole range of allegations, of differing sizes, complexities and gravities, including fraud, money laundering and other financial crimes, as well as murders, espionage, terrorism and serious violence and sexual offences.

Despite his considerable experience, one of his strengths is that he understands fully that to his clients “serious” is an extremely relative concept, and consequently he represents clients as though his own reputation depended on it.

Peter is very respected by his peers for being a shrewd tactician which, coupled with a modest, affable and down-to-earth character, belies a steely desire to succeed.

Notable cases include:

  • R v D - Acted for defendant in multi-million-pound Conspiracy to Defraud high street stores and Modern Slavery Act offences.
